Illiquid is an ownership network. It is not a marketplace, valuation contract, or payment service.
These terms apply to the Illiquid web application at illiquid.fund. Questions: george@exactscience.co.
The service
Illiquid lets you identify, save, and optionally publish physical things you own, and follow other collectors. Identification suggestions are hypotheses. Canonical object pages are shared knowledge, not proof of authenticity, title, or value.
Illiquid does not buy, sell, escrow, insure, or appraise objects. Nothing here is an offer to transact or a professional valuation.
Your account
You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Email/password is the current sign-in method.
What you add
Only upload photographs and text you are entitled to use. Do not publish:
- other people’s private information
- content you do not have rights to
- illegal material
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish. Private notes, identification chats, and diagnostics stay off public pages even when an item is public.
If you publish a Profile, item, or Collection, you grant Illiquid a licence to host and display that public projection so the product can work. You can unpublish. Unpublishing does not unwind copies that other people already saw.
Closing an account
You may ask us to close your account. At launch we deactivate and unpublish rather than erase historical Ownership, Asset Instances, or canonical objects. That protects provenance and shared knowledge. We may suspend an account that violates these terms.
Availability
The service is provided as-is during this launch. We may change or interrupt it. English law applies. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
